Iranian art has always undergone changes in the direction of progress and improvement since the beginning of time until today. The passage of time and the pattern of many ways and methods in the direction of the development of art in Iran (especially traditional arts) caused us to look at the pattern of one of the growing countries in this field in this article.By examining the type of traditional art education in Japan as an advanced country in the direction of education and continuing it in the direction of promoting and improving the works, What is neglected in these trainings is the training of traditional arts. The purpose of this research is to provide a comparative study of the methods of teaching traditional arts in Iran and Japan and to further use the methods of teaching traditional arts in Japanese schools to improve the teaching methods in Iran. The necessity of conducting the present research considering the educational system of advanced countries, where most of the curriculum of the first secondary course is devoted to subjects such as art and special activities such as the establishment of cultural and artistic festivals, etc… has been allocated, it caused the investigation of this issue in comparison with Iran, so that the cause of the lack of these programs in the educational process of teenagers can be evaluated as much as possible. Now the question is, what are the commonalities and differences between traditional art education in Japanese and Iranian schools? Or how to use the methods of teaching traditional art in Japanese schools to teach the same type of art in one of Iran's educational levels? The method of collecting materials and data used was library, document and field, which was done with a descriptive and analytical approach.
