During the Qajar rule over Iran, the extensive and more than ever connections of the Qajar kings with European countries had a significant impact on the field of Iranian art. The purpose of the present research is to find the answer to this question, how did the arrival of postcards in Iran affect the style and theme of the murals in Sultan Begum's house? The present research has been carried out by descriptive-analytical method and information gathering method using books and past researches as well as field study on 14 wall paintings of the studied house. Considering that the murals of Sultan Begum's house in Tehran have been considered as one of the original cultural and historical values and have brought valuable information with them, and considering that these paintings are a pictorial identity of a moment in the history of this city, the examination of such paintings Buildings are of special importance and doubles the necessity of conducting research.
After conducting the studies, we found that during the Qajar era, the postcards that entered Iran from Farang had a special importance and popularity. The courtiers recorded the pictures of the postcards on the walls of their houses. In Sultan Begum's house, pictures of the nature of western countries can be found in its main hall. These pictures are not of Iranian nature because sometimes they depict buildings whose architecture belongs to England, Switzerland, France and Russia.
