Revisiting the Story of Tank Hunting: Exploring the Character of Martyr Husayn Kharrazi Based on Dramatic Elements

Abstract
The Sacred Defense of Iran, a pivotal period in the nation's history, is rich with tales of courage, self-sacrifice, and unwavering dedication from those who fought to safeguard their homeland's values and identity. Among these heroes, Martyr Sepuhbod Hajj Hossein Kharrazi, commander of the 14th Imam Hossein Division, stands as a beacon of sacrifice and bravery during the imposed war. This article delves into a profound analysis of Martyr Kharrazi's character, focusing on its manifestation in the renowned Tank Hunting story. This narrative vividly illustrates various facets of this esteemed martyr's personality. The primary objective of this research is to analyze the dramatic elements and narrative techniques within this story that contribute to the portrayal of Martyr Kharrazi's character and his profound human values. To achieve this, the narrative analysis method is employed. This method allows for the identification and examination of key story elements, including dialogue, action, suspense, and resolution. Consequently, the central research questions aim to clarify and deepen the analysis: How do dramatic elements within the Tank Hunting story contribute to the portrayal of Martyr Kharrazi's character? And what impact has this character had on the morale of the combatants? The research findings reveal that Martyr Kharrazi, through his courage and prudence in destroying the enemy's tank, played a pivotal role in the combatants' victory. He demonstrated decisive and wise decision-making in the face of danger. This story not only showcases his courage, military strategy, and commendable ethics but also serves as a model for the youth to emulate in safeguarding their homeland and Islamic values. Ultimately, Martyr Kharrazi's character, a symbol of national and religious significance, embodies the spirit of sacrifice and selflessness. This spirit should be cherished not only during wartime but also as a guiding principle in all aspects of our social and cultural life.
