Abstract: The story of Sheikh Sanan and the Taresa Daughter has been repeatedly attracted the attention of painters due to its attractiveness and the presence of story elements. This theory is a psychological model for understanding the influence of the environment in creating emotions without awareness of the source of cognition to understand the structure and selection of emotions such as fear, anger, sadness and happiness and recognizing emotional signs. Some literary themes and stories have been created in the cultural foundations of people with the influence of this theory and under environmental conditions and physiological effects of emotion. The story has obvious characteristics that a person can have a behavioral reaction when exposed to emotions with an unknown source, which after the passage of time has no reason to choose that emotion from his own point of view. The main issue of the present study is to analyze the mechanism of the influence of the two-factor role of emotion of Schachtour and Singer in the semantic framework of the character of Sheikh Sanan in the slogan of Attar and its reflection in the paintings of the painting room of Chaleshtour Castle. This research seeks to answer the following question: According to the two-factor theory of emotion, what was the physiological arousal of Sheikh Sanan behavior and what was the effect of the emotion caused by it? What is clear is that based on the influence of the environment and the creation of physiological emotional arousal resulting from the meeting of Sheikh Sanan and Tarsa daughter, the emotion of joy and infatuation is selected without recognizing the original source.
Introducion:“The story of Sheikh Sanan and the Teresa Daughter has been repeatedly attracted the attention of painters due to its attractiveness and the presence of story elements. This article aims to determine the story aspects of Sheikh Sanan and the Teresa Daughter according to the two-factor theory of emotion of Schachtour and Singer. This theory is a psychological model for understanding the influence of the environment in creating emotions, without being aware of the source of cognition, to understand the structure and selection of emotions such as fear, anger, sadness and happiness and to recognize emotional signs. Some literary themes and stories have been created in the cultural foundations of people with the influence of this theory and under environmental conditions and physiological effects of emotion. The story has obvious characteristics that a person can have a behavioral reaction when exposed to emotions with an unknown source, which after the passage of time has no reason to choose that emotion from his own point of view.
Methods: This study employs a qualitative, interpretive methodology grounded in the discourse theory of Schachter and Singer. The research draws upon library-based data, visual analysis, and theoretical frameworks to examine selected paintings Sheikh Sanan in the painting room of Chaleshtor Castle. This study, by comparing Attar's poems with Sheikh Sanan paintings in Chaleshtar Castle with the theory of the influence of emotions on behavior, aims to show how different types of emotions are expressed visually and semantically in this painting.
Results: We examined this painting based on the examination of visual effects and content appropriate to the reflection of Sheikh Sanan reaction and the defense mechanism resulting from recognition based on the cognitive theory of the two factors of emotion of Schachter and Singer. The artist who created this painting has paid more attention to the climax scenes of the story and has depicted them in three frames, regardless of the secondary topics of the story. Considering It is clear that the artist has tried to observe the authenticity of Attar's verses and to bring the painted painting closer to the descriptions of the verses to some extent, while at the same time implementing the artistic characteristics of his time in accordance with this theme.
Discussion: : It can be said that the processing of Sheikh's emotions in dealing with the first emotion and meeting the girl Tarsa is a type of interaction between emotion and cognition in accordance with the conditions of the external environment, and the choice of that behavior by Sheikh occurred without any logic or thought. There is no cognition in the choice. External factors and physiological arousal control emotion and drive cognition away. It can be said that the type of emotions are affected by emotional stimuli and they are the ones that create cognition with or without consciousness. Sheikh responds quickly to emotional stimuli. A response that affects the type of his perception. If we are familiar with emotional stimuli, we will be able to recognize them and react rationally and logically. Understanding exciting events and happenings will cause a delay in rapid emotional reactions.
