Strategic Studies of Art

Strategic Studies of Art

This quarterly journal, by publishing scientific articles from researchers in the field of interdisciplinary art studies, aims to receive and present strategies and solutions regarding the resolution of micro and macro issues in the contemporary art scene of Iran. Considering the duties and mission of the Research Institute of Culture, Art, and Communication, and the tasks assigned to it, which focus on problem identification, needs assessment, and conducting research to respond to the needs and issues of Iranian society in the field of art, this journal is focused on promoting strategic studies and strengthening the grounds for theory production in the artistic fields with a local approach. It welcomes scientific articles from researchers interested in such studies for ‘problem-solving’ in the field of Iranian art.

The quarterly journal ‘Art Studies,’ published by the Research Institute of Culture, Art, and Communication, is issued after obtaining publication license number 86079 from the Press Department of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, in collaboration with the Iranian Islamic Art Scientific Association. According to the regulations for scientific journals approved by the Commission of Scientific Publications of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, after publishing four consecutive issues, this journal will be evaluated in the process of scientific journal assessment, and the articles published in these four issues will also receive the scientific ranking announced by the Ministry of Science.
